Question 1

What can this tool remove from an image?

Accepted Answer

It removes visible text overlays such as captions, labels, timestamps, and many watermark-style marks by filling the selected area to match the surrounding background.

Question 2

How do I select the text accurately?

Accepted Answer

Use the brush tool to paint over the letters and include a small margin around them so the model has enough context to rebuild edges and textures cleanly.

Question 3

What is Model V2 and why does it matter?

Accepted Answer

Model V2 is the generation model used for inpainting, and it’s tuned to produce more natural blends on complex backgrounds like fabric, gradients, and patterned surfaces.

Question 4

Can I process many images automatically?

Accepted Answer

Yes—teams can automate bulk cleanup using /cleanup so a consistent removal workflow runs across a batch of assets without manual editing on each file.

Question 5

Does it work with existing automation stacks?

Accepted Answer

If your workflow already uses Jasper API for orchestration, you can integrate text removal as a step in your pipeline to send images for cleanup and retrieve the edited outputs programmatically.

Question 6

What should I check before downloading the final image?

Accepted Answer

Zoom in around the edited area to verify there are no halos, repeated artifacts, or smudged edges; if you see issues, regenerate with a slightly larger selection.
